• Private Childbirth Prep Classes

    We offer private childbirth classes for you and your support person, in the privacy of your own home.

    Private childbirth classes can cover all the same topics as our group classes, but they have the added benefit of being tailored exactly to you and your family’s unique circumstances and needs.

    You may want to cover everything or you might just want to focus on one topic that you have questions about. We can do that.

    We bring all the teaching tools to your door so you can see how the uterus, pelvis, and baby interact during birth. You can touch various medical tools that you might need to make decisions about and work through some exercises to help you feel confident in your decision making skills. You will learn breathing techniques and your birth partner will learn comfort measures specific to each stage of labor.

    To top it off, you will receive a Silver Falls Family Support Childbirth Prep workbook, so you have all your resources to practice your new skills on your own time between sessions.

    Classes are interactive and hands-on!

    Our 6-hour package is our most popular choice, because it allows enough time to get a really solid foundation for your upcoming birth. That said, classes can vary in length depending on your needs, but are typically 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours in total and can be split up into different sessions to accommodate your schedule.

    Private childbirth classes are an excellent add-on to doula support! We even offer an Educational Birth Doula Package for folks who want to combine private childbirth education with birth doula support.
