“Let choice whisper in your ear and love murmur in your heart. Be ready. Here comes life."
— Maya Angelou

What are some of the decisions you will need to make ahead of time about your birth choices?
What are your rights and how will you advocate for yourself?

This package is designed for folks who desire to learn as much as they can about pregnancy and birth. We will do a deep dive into your rights in the health care setting and walk through the benefits, risks, and alternatives of birthing options. Great for first time parents, people planning for a VBAC, or for those who have experienced birth trauma previously and would like to go into this birth with more confidence.
At our first prenatal session we will go over the welcome packet, discuss labor hopes and worries, and support expectations.
Your private childbirth education sessions are for personalized childbirth prep and postpartum planning. These sessions are tailored to what it is YOU want to know. No worries though; we’ll help even if you don’t know what it is you want to know. That’s exactly what we do best!
You’ll receive continuous labor and birth support from the moment you need your birth worker during labor, up until 2 hours postpartum.
In our postpartum sessions we can talk about body changes, new adjustments, offer tips and tricks for baby care, and give you space to process your birth.

With a focus on your whole mind, body, and soul well-being, this support package is designed to help you go inward and really connect with your changing body and all of the feelings you are experiencing.
Whether you’re a hippie dippy free-spirit or you’re simply looking for a unique experience that helps you dive deeply inward and align with your own birth vision, this is the package for you.
Your prenatal sessions with your birth worker are to build a relationship of mutual trust and nurturing compassion for wherever you are in your journey towards parenthood. We will use a combination of modalities to address your physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. These might include reflective listening and story telling so that you can fully express and share whatever you are holding inside that might impact your birth and postpartum journey. It could also include creating birth art and affirmations together, practicing mindfulness, meditation, simple energy shifting and centering, exploring your thoughts and feelings through tarot, journaling, breathing, or even forest bathing together.
We can also connect you with local clinical herbalists, massage therapists, counselors, and other practitioners who can help nurture your entire being.
During your labor, we will be fully present with you, offering emotional encouragement, physical comfort, and be the one who protects the birth environment by holding space for your unique journey and staying with you up to 2 hours after birth.
After your baby is earth-side, your postpartum sessions will hold space for you to discuss your birth, ask questions, take an herbal bath, eat a nutritious meal, and get that holistic support you are craving.

There are a lot of reasons why you might schedule to deliver your baby by cesarean. All reasons are valid.
Whether you plan a belly birth or a pelvic/vaginal one, you’re still growing a human for 39ish weeks and, typically, pregnancy brings up lots of questions.
What should you expect during the procedure? What is recovery like? How will breast/chest and/or bottle feeding work? How should you care for yourself after you go home?
Let us talk through some of those with you, and help you feel prepared and safe bringing your baby into the world and into your arms.
During our prenatal sessions we can discuss cesarean education, hospital prep, personalized community resources, and postpartum planning.
On the BIG DAY we can meet you at home to ensure your bag is packed, do some relaxation breathing to calm your nerves, and then follow you to the hospital to stay with you until the procedure begins and throughout the entire day.
After your baby is born we’ll be right beside you in recovery to help you connect with your baby, get the “golden hour” initiated, offer a helping hand, and ensure you’re fed and comfortable.
Daytime postpartum sessions are to support you while your body and heart heal. These hours might involve newborn care and education, help with pumping and feeding, support to get you fed, bathed, and rested, and whatever else can help your recovery go as smoothly as possible during all the changes you’ll be experiencing. Some of your postpartum hours will likely take place in the hospital, since you will be there for a few extra days and need a little extra support, and the rest will happen at home.
We can also happily be with you when you are discharged from the hospital and go home, helping you get all your people, your baby, your belongings, to your car and into your home, where we can help you get settled in on your first day home together as a family.
You might be asking yourself, ‘but why hire a doula if I’m not going into labor’? Oh we have some reasons.

A little note from us to you about partner support
You might have an awesome loving partner(s) who is/are fully invested in all things child rearing as equally as you are. Or you might be parenting on your own, navigating this pregnancy on your own, hoping to calm your own fears and embrace your own power as the strong birthing person that you are! We stand with all parents and all families.
We recognize you might have lots of support. Perhaps you might be your own best support. Or maybe, we’re your support. Either way…
You belong here.
