“When we encourage new parents to ‘treasure these moments because they don’t last forever’, we need to remember to also reassure them that they will survive these moments because they don’t last forever.”
— L.R. Knost
After your birth, in many ways, you and your baby are actually getting to know each other for the very first time. You are beginning to understand who they are, what their personality is like, how they prefer to be comforted, and how they like to sleep and eat. And they are learning who you are, how you smell and sound outside the womb, and how you respond to their needs in this great big world where everything seems so bright and loud and new.
…and all of this is happening while you are sore, exhausted, bleeding, and hangry (pot pie anyone?)!
You may have questions about the difference between disposable and cloth diapers, different feeding choices, how to comfort a fussy baby, and how to safely sleep now that this little person needs you round the clock. Or you may be an experienced parent who just needs an extra set of hands or a little bit of “me time” to feel whole and recentered after all of the adjustments that have come.
Let us help you find answers that resonate with your unique family and nurture your physical and emotional transition into parenthood.

Undoubtedly, evenings with a new baby can be some of the most challenging times of the day! Partners are coming home from work, everybody wants dinner, and baby might be fussy and clingy. They often want to cluster feed, lament about all the wrongs in the universe, and only want to be held....just when the rest of your family needs you the most.
You might feel overwhelmed and like you're running out of energy or hands. For all these reasons (and more), this part of the day is sometimes called "The Witching Hour.”
This is where we can help! We can assist with dinner, occupy older children, or hold the baby while you get some much-needed uninterrupted time with your other children or your partner, or just catch your breath with some alone time.
As nighttime approaches, we can help clean up and get family members settled into bed for the night.
Your initial “getting to know you” 30-min zoom session is included at no charge.

Sometime during the postpartum period, you might need a little extra support, perhaps to have a safe space to process your birth experience with an empathetic and reflective listener.
Or you might need some help with a specific concern such as baby-wearing, feeding, sleeping, or soothing your baby.
You might just even need a one-time friendly presence to help care for your precious baby while you tend to another obligation, have a date with your partner, or just sleep, eat, or take a long, hot, relaxing bath alone.
We get it. We’ve been there. We can do all of that… and more.
This is typically a 3 hour session and will be tailored to your unique needs.

A little note from us to you about partner support
You might have an awesome loving partner(s) who is/are fully invested in all things child rearing as equally as you are. Or you might be parenting on your own, navigating this pregnancy on your own, hoping to calm your own fears, and embrace your own power as the strong birthing person that you are! We stand with all parents and all families.
We recognize that you might have lots of support. Perhaps you might be your own best support. Or maybe, we’re your support. Either way…
You belong here.
