“If a community values its children, it must cherish their parents.”

— John Bowlby

You might have taken a childbirth class to learn about the changes in your body during labor and how to navigate all the choices you’ll need to make about your care during childbirth. But what have you done to prepare for what happens next?

Maybe you have an experienced postpartum doula who will be nurturing you and providing you with newborn care education. Or maybe you have a relative who is coming to help out with meals and household chores. These are brilliant! We need more of this kind of support in our society!

But what if we told you that there is so much more to consider and so much more you can be doing to prepare your body, mind, and soul for this massive transition into parenthood?

What is a “Milk Retreat” and a “Newborn Map?”

Who is your “inner circle” and why will those people be so vital during this vulnerable time?

How do you set up a “kid train” so that your older children are well-loved and cared for while you add a new baby to their world?

What would it mean to connect to your family lineage and awaken traditions that connect you to all those who have come before you on this journey?

Working with a Postpartum Navigator is a unique opportunity to reflect on these types of questions and reach clarity about how you want your postpartum phase to look and feel.

Let’s plan for something special
